67 Bricks help the Royal Society of Chemistry streamline its Open Access system
"It used to take authors three weeks to select, sign and return their license. It now takes three minutes..."
The open access (OA) landscape is changing rapidly and 67 Bricks' client the Royal Society of Chemistry wanted to improve and speed up the way it managed its OA processes and customer experience. The Royal Society of Chemistry brought in 67 Bricks to help buiild a new, automated OA system that would be flexible and robust enough to grow alongside their Open Access programme, evolve with the changing landscape and support staff and external users simultaneously.
"67 Bricks confidently managed rapidly changing requirements while releasing to real users as often as four times a week. This gave us a real edge against our competitors striving to build similar functionality."
Frank Gibson, Director of Technology, the Royal Society of Chemistry
