The second ConTech Live will be held in London next week on the 5 & 6 December – and the agenda promises a range of ground-breaking insights into how information companies are harnessing the power of data to transform their content.  It promises to be a memorable event and 67 Bricks are delighted to be involved.  Head of client services David Leeming is presenting with Emerald Publishing’s Harriet Bell on Day 1, and head of strategy and industry engagement Jennifer Schivas will telling the Chemical Watch data story with Richard Butterworth on Day 2.

67 Bricks co-founder Sam Herbert said: “By 2020, the amount of information we have will double every single day.  To some companies, that’s a problem, but for many its a significant opportunity to innovate and deliver an improved user experience.

“The ConTech Live conference is packed full of pioneers who are showcasing exactly that.  PLOS, Taylor & Francis, Scholarcy, Informa and JoVE are just some of the great speakers.  There will be sessions on how AI has helped curate and classify information on rare diseases, a presentation getting under the bonnet of machine learning and asking is it taking over software?, an introduction to the new AI-powered media platform Ziotag, a look at how you can measure your own organisation’s data maturity, and much more.

“Plus we are delighted our clients Emerald Publishing and Chemical Watch will be sharing their latest projects too.  Emerald Publishing will be walking us through their journey in developing a completely new digital content platform.  Chemical Watch will be demonstrating how they used semantic fingerprinting to deliver better information products for customers.”
